Management had strange personalities Stollen wages, they will approve your clock in and out times but dock you time on your pay (illegal) They didn’t pay me for the first half of my week or tips I was owed (its supposed to go on the next paycheck so we’ll see.. had to badger them for answers) They do pooled and tiered tipout (based on hrs and position) 1.5 weeks after the fact Not transparent about tips at all, don’t have waitstaff representatives present to watch cash counted at the end of the night (you’re not expected to carry a float, it all goes in the same register…) Had to write a product knowledge and seating test that took over 2.5 hrs to write after 5 days of minimal training Didn’t get promised number of shifts Don’t honour 3 hr min pay (illegal) Cancelled shifts on schedule with no explanation (wasn’t an on call shift, was a regularly scheduled shift) Will schedule you as positions you weren’t hired for for weeks unless you remind them you are not that position Nothing really done in writing, all verbal communication which they don’t honour when you bring up issues Unwilling to be transparent about how tips are divided So many red flags, wasted my time here
