Incompetent Management/ Racist

Nice end of year Holiday Party

Cons

Management tends to have their own click of people, one doesn’t like you, everyone doesn’t like you. Grown adults acting like high schoolers. No growth unless you made it to the Asian crew. Pay horrible, environment horrible, pay for your own insurance. Micro managed and over worked.

Good environment for self starter Decent Pay Commission is 20%

Micromanagement No clear objectives, other than to close new customers Corporate pricing is only focused on TPEB, so they are out of touch with the Webster's office business model. Benefits are PATHETIC Vacation time is very standard EXTREME AMOUNT of TURNOVER HORRIBLE if you are in operations Location ZERO training ZERO Recourse for HR issues, since so far removed from NYC Corporate office. President only reaches out to manager and has no relationship with the employees who manage the day to day. No expense account. You pay for everything upfront and can only submit an expense once a month. So you get to hold the bag for a month. $500/month car allowance is not pursuant with inflation. Tires costs have increased 22% in the past 2 years alone.

Some of our customer requirements are very detailed which is why it's important that our Client Solutions team pays attention to details and proactively follows up on shipment information. Relaxed atmosphere of your Asian

Cons

Upper management is clueless and only there for a paycheck. Racist to non Asian staff. No room for growth unless youre within an upper management circle. Pay is not competitive.

Pros

End of year party/Christmas party. End of year bonus. Pretty diverse but it's branch by branch.

Cons

* Used to WFH 3 days a week then upper management changed it to only 1 day and it can't be Monday or Friday. * Insurance premium used to be paid by the company. Now upper management changed the policy so employees pay it now. (The only option is HDHP with HSA.) * You have to use sick day(you get paid out end of the year if you don't use it.) if you give less than 24 hrs notice but can use PTO if you give more than 24 hrs notice.

Thank you for your feedback. OEC Group consistently evaluates our benefits to ensure a well-rounded package. Due to market conditions, we had to make a small change to our plan to include a minimal cost and provides the best possible healthcare for our employees. OEC is continuing to pay-out unused sick time at the end of the year, however, our company is fully aware that nobody plans on getting sick and we encourage our employees to use their time as needed.
