Pros

Managers pay little to no attention so you can pretty much get away with anything.

Cons

Managers pay little to no attention to what's going on so you pretty much have free reign. If you're someone that actually works it's really frustrating to see the people around you to get away with this. There is no life-work balance. They're not interested in discussing that. Upper management is like a phantom. They're never seen except for when you screw up. They have most of their clients on the west coast which means staying after 5:00 to accommodate them. Morale is awful. The managers are the most miserable people you'll come across. Turnover is very high because the pay is horrible and the health benefits are even worse. They seem to have something against promoting minorites. While most of their employees are minorities none of their managers are. I find this highly suspicious considering there are some really talented people that never get promoted to managers. They'd rather promote a white person with no experience to a department than promote the most experienced minority there. It's really disgusting. Stay away from this place.

Employee Protection is Lacking

Pros

Some of the employees are nice to work with.

Cons

I have been disappointed multiple times over the manner in which the department that handles employee issues has handled concerns and real frustrations. I feel like the head of that department lacks decency and common respect, along with failing to have sufficient fact finding. She simply is not sophisticated enough to present things in ways that are comforting or, at the least, respectful. I don’t think the department fairly or respectfully handles concerns. They do not provide the support necessary for all employees to be successful. They talk a lot about support, but have no substantive means to actually provide the necessary support or guidance. Their processes are humiliating to the employee and definitely do not show respect for employees or adherence to proper corporate protocol. They seem to care more about being sued than how an employee feels or what is fair. The compensation and raises do not follow the structure that is in place. Employees are at their whim as to whether the company will honor proper compensation. Overall, I don’t think employees feel appreciated for their time and service to the company. I think there needs to be a much better system in place to protect employees once human resources is involved. Countless employees definitely do not feel protected. I certainly feel very slighted by events that have transpired and do not feel that there is anyone to protect my interests or reward my efforts. I am very dismayed about how things are handled and could not really recommend this as a safe place for a dedicated employee to work.

Pros

Bonuses are given on occasion for massive work production, and are nice when you need a little extra income that you weren't expecting. There are a handful of managers that have been with the company since inception that keep the atmosphere light in the face of unrealistic demands, if not for them nobody would work here at this point.

Cons

Morale is at an all time low, the negativity and heinous 60+ hour work weeks make for burnt out employees across all departments. Turnover is very high, and unfortunately the HR department is aggressive and lacks the ability to breed trust. Upper management has become distant, unless you have made a mistake. However their care for employees is what made this place somewhere that people wanted to be and work. This is an every man/woman for themselves business.

We are truly sorry to hear about your frustrations. The Managing Partners pride themselves on ensuring that their company is the top in the industry, but even more so, they understand the value of their employees and want to confirm that they are happy and excited to be here. We have experienced growing pains which is normal for a company expanding at the pace we have recently. We are adding more office space for our teams, onboarding talented employees every week to regulate the workload, and we are scheduling check-ins with our employees to allow them an opportunity to express their concerns in order for us to make appropriate changes as quickly as possible. Please reach out to anyone on the HR team at hr@osnational.com to discuss this further as we are committed to improve every day.
