Pros
What an amazing place to work! Great people, compelling corporate vision and wonderful benefits! Diverse and brilliant coworkers that made going to work a joy.
Cons
OSI Pharmaceuticals was bought out by Astellas Pharmaceuticals and the company was never the same after that. The company eventually closed it's doors. Very unfortunate!

Greatest chemistry department I worked for. Had great managers who looked out for my success. Promoted multiple times. Benefits top notch. All the access you need to do research. Great young talent. Great after hours with co workers. Best job for a young person.
Cons
The buying of eyetech. Worst deal of the century. It ate up financing and moral. It was the downfall of a great biotech.
