1. The management is extremely stingy. Besides the very disgusting milo, tea and coffee in the pantry, we are expected to pay for own engagement events, such as birthdays and festive celebrations. Christmas, CNY, all from your own pocket. They have their own plantation, during durian season no free durian as well, they will sell you at staff price, and it not very cheap as well. 2. They treat us very very poorly! Showing no appreciation at all. They expect you to work or respond immediately, even after working hours, during medical leave, or while on annual leave, without considering if you’re sick or occupied with personal responsibilities like taking care of your kids. 3. The leaders lack competence and do not prioritize protecting their team. In meetings, they will put the blame onto you to safeguard their own interests/ their face. 4. Most of the time, leaders are sarcastic and don’t know how to lead, guide, or mentor their team properly. They don’t listen, seem lazy, and are often unprepared, with important information not readily available even during meetings. 5. Everything is very manual as the management is unwilling to invest in a good system. As a result, you’ll spend at least 65% of your time on paperwork. 6. It's a family run business and you’ll often find yourself caught in the middle of conflicts or decisions involving their family members. 7.Bonus and promotion is based on your attitude / shoe polishing skills. Taking Mc will affect your bonus as well. 8. You are not allowed to take leave on Monday! weird rules. 9. The onboarding experience is disorganized and poorly managed. The recruitment team often provides misleading information or withholds the full truth, especially regarding staff benefits and the culture of the company. 10. If the management doesn’t favor you, they may indirectly push you to leave through political tactics. 11. Although everyone works on the same floor in the same office, communication between different functions is poor. When things go wrong, it often leads to a blame game, and the leaders remain silent, offering no support or resolution. 12. Career growth is extremely slow due to the lack of projects to work on. The limited training opportunities mean staff have little chance to improve their skills, and the work primarily involves execution rather than strategic tasks, making it hard and slow to develop professionally. 13. If any of the HR leaders are nice to you, it often comes with a hidden agenda. They either want you to take on their work or plan to shift all responsibilities onto you so they can avoid accountability. so, beware! 14. I need to emphasize again, staff welfare here is EXTREMELY poor! If you want to work here, you must have a strong mindset of "I get paid to work here, and not to have fun here". This is not a place where you feel like home, more like a prison to me. If you are someone who values appreciation, personal space and respect, this is not your place!

Warning: Don't just take my word for it. Read all the other reviews! We're all saying the same things because nothing ever improves in this nightmare company. This place (HR) is stuck in the dinosaur age with its backward, rigid thinking and terrible management. The leaders here only care about impressing the upper management, regular employees are usually invisible to them. They never listen to staff concerns and when they pretend to care about feedback, surprise surprise!! nothing changes! It's just for fun~ The racism here is an open secret, they clearly prefers Chinese employees and everyone knows it. Chinese gets the promotion, gets the attention, but end of the day, still depending on their mood! Walking into the office feels like entering a sad, lifeless place where no one smiles. The culture is completely dead with no team lunches, no celebrations, and no recognition for hard work. Don't believe me? Interview the existing staff there and ask them when was the last time they had a team celebration? The worst part? Some leaders here are just loud, stubborn and full of ego. They're impossible to please like no matter what you do, what you say, it's never good enough for them. Leaders treat their subordinates like slaves, demanding long hours and 24/7 availability while being completely unavailable themselves. The pay is pathetically low for the mountain of work they pile on you. 1 salary for 5 people's worth of responsibilities! They don't accept mistakes here, one time you make a mistake, gone case! They will deduct your increment and bonus! They don't believe in training or helping staff improve. In fact, they seem to not want employees to learn new skills. On job training is also very minimal. If you are looking for a place to grow or a leader to guide you, best of luck to you! So many good people have quit, but management refuses to see they're the problem. They pretend to care about feedback but never change anything. Please, do yourself a huge favor and find a better company. This place will only make you miserable. There are much better options out there where you'll actually be treated with respect. To be clear, OSK Group is fundamentally a good company. my feedback is specifically regarding areas for improvement within the HR Department only.
