There are people who by just being around make you feel smarter. Upper management at Mass Metal are those people. To say the leadership is "visionary" is an understatement. If you want to work for a company that truly values you as a person, is interested in your personal and professional development, you've found it. Before Mass Metal, I've never worked somewhere with such a focus on making sure you are working on tasks and projects that you enjoy. Obviously that can't happen all the time, but to be asked on a regular basis, "Do you enjoy what you're working on?" is a wonderful thing. You'll be pushed to your limit and sometimes beyond, but it's always done in a supportive way that encourages growth. Mass Metal is headquartered in a classy and updated second floor office in historic and scenic downtown Lawrence Kansas. Lawrence, home to The University of Kansas (KU) is a very vibrant and eclectic town with a small town feel. It has a very active arts community and tons of recreational opportunities. I don't want this to turn into a travelogue about Lawrence so I'll stop gushing, but it really is a wonderful place to live.
