Getting to work on behalf of the Obamas and help shape this organization is (and probably will always be) one of the coolest things I've ever done. Coworkers are amazing people who are here for the mission and the right reasons. The work the Foundation does in Chicago and around the world is inspiring and so important. Wide ranging and growing work creates lots of opportunities to learn new things, take on new responsibilities, and contribute in real ways to shaping the Foundation as it grows.

Cons

It's a young organization so there are some start up growing pains (need to build out systems/processes, lots of change) that come with the territory but create opportunities for learning & growth too.
