Yet another decent job ruined by antagonistic management
Pros
The company is absolutely fantastic to work for. Decent pay, great benefits, Vacation and PTO time (for those who qualify), tuition assistance, etc. Many team members are very friendly, and I've made plenty of lifelong friends during my tenure at this company, including bosses. There's pretty much always room to grow and move up in the company as well.
Cons
This particular department is unfortunately plagued by a poorly implemented materials management system, and overseen by pushy, unprofessional management who will look for any excuse possible to take their anger out on their employees, sometimes throwing in swear words as well. I was once angrily questioned about a routine work duty, and was basically told by management (in a rather vulgar manner) that, if they have to have a bad day, then we do too. Management will repeatedly tell us to come to them for help, but will often sigh, roll their eyes, or say things like "whatever" "I don't care" or "can't you see I'm busy?!" when doing so. Finger-pointing and accusations are rampant and it's ensured that you be made to feel as if you're under an investigation for the slightest of issues, meanwhile management can get away with throwing around angry accusations and making their own mistakes punishment-free.
