Pros
There are opportunities for moving up in this company in places due to turnover. Crew was given a pay bump during ‘21 a season.
Cons
They pay you 30 days after offload which is unusual. If you quit/get fired you lose half the pay for that trip and are charged I think 20 or 50$ a day for room and board until you get off. There seems to be some drama between the office and the boats but that in my short experience is not out of the norm. Officers get unlimited use of internet but deckhands have very restricted use including deck boss. Generally deckhands make around 3 shares, shares are about 1000 right now and a trip is at best 10 days
