Paid a stupidly low salary - less than what was initially discussed at interview stages. To this day, I cannot believe I left my previous role for this shambolic place. They literally do not care about one thing other than the money. The Wilderness is absolutely not worth the money either, the cottages are all in need of an upgrade - things are missing / dirty. And the operational side of that is also, a mess. Farmhouse is honestly a whole different league of quality, surroundings, cleanliness and overall experience. You receive more complaints than positive reviews from guests. The owners are all a load of liars, they do not care about one single person in there - infact they are actually happy to fire employees on the spot who have been there for multiple years, not even sure that is legal!? A 'long' employment would be classed as making it to a year - that is apparently a milestone. Honestly I cannot express how bad this company is and the people who run it are even worse. Seriously, keep looking as there are far superior jobs out there, all it is doing is wasting your time - they will not promote you, actually I think they said they do not believe in it so absolutely no career progression. No company benefits, no culture and especially no company values to go by. Senior management is dire. Overall a -100/10 review.

Long standing employees get away with bullying their colleagues There is 0 opportunity for growth They fire staff on the spot without warnings or disciplinary meetings They have no staff handbook, health and safety procedure, onboarding or off boarding process (The HR department is USELESS) A very senior member of staff who joined in 2024, straight after being released from federal prison after a 6-year stunt for corruptly impeding the administration of tax laws, conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to steal or embezzle employee benefit plan and healthcare funds, and theft or embezzlement in connection with healthcare. This man is sexiest, rude and he is allowed to fire anyone who disagrees with him, no matter how long that member off staff has worked for the company. You are overworked and underpaid. There is NO social culture
