Pros

Pay rates are higher than industry average for the very short period of time that you will be employed there. If you are related or a close friend of the CEO or President you have work life balance - the rest of the employees pick up the slack.

Cons

There are no company values. If you point out a flaw in a process - you are fired and your termination notice will state that you have a bad attitude or you don't "fit". This is rampant in every office - Calgary, Grande Prairie or Fort St. John. It is common company practice to bring employees on and terminate one day before the three month probationary period. Four controllers in three years should give you some insight to the financial stability and integrity of the company. Benefits are minimal - bonus platform unstable.

Pros

Not to bad of pay, average pay. Decent drivers, that's about it. All local runs within 3 hours of Edmonton.

Cons

Lack of communication, Lack of training, Mechanics don't know how to trouble shoot problems, Favoritism with driver's, no set schedule for days off, it suppose to be a 12 and 4, but as soon as you have a 36 reset your called back in. Slip seating between trucks.
