Where do I begin? The president is a salesman through and through. He will make the company and job seem too good to be true, and it is. All he cares about is the bottom line and will not listen to any complaints or criticisms. He will explain them away, creating a culture of fear in the office. Fear of speaking up, fear of losing your job, fear of being on the outside of his specially curated "yes men" that he has surrounded himself with. Think you can go to your boss or one of the executive team, be prepared for carefully calculated retaliation because they will tell him. Think you can go to HR (which is not even in our office!), think again. They are even worse and will ALWAYS back up the president. Even after he tried to bully a manager to give a great employee a bad review so he could fire him, HR did NOTHING! Oh, and they have lost 7, yup 7, employees in the last year due to their incompetence. The president spun each one of those departures as "retiring", or blamed the employee for leaving and then bad-mouthed them once they left. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this toxic company.
