Weird that so many of the 5 star reviews are so close together...

Pros

Offers.com has talented employees who are generally great people.

Cons

In short, Offers.com knows how to find great talent, but they don't know how to use it. The opportunity for advancement is mediocre, and if your ideas clash with those of the CEO - forget about being heard. If you're looking to work in the technical side of the business, you might enjoy this job. There's a lot to learn. If you're seeking a more creative position, be prepared to deal with the battle ahead (condescension and micro-management included).

Pros

It should tell you something that other reviews consistently list "free snacks" as one of the few Pros of working here. Because not having to sink 60 cents into a vending machine for a bag of Cheeto's is about the only thing that doesn't 100% stink about this place. Well, I also liked my boss and most of my fellow inmates, er, co-workers. Because you know, misery loves company.

Cons

Oh man, where do I start? Of all the places I've worked, which includes fast-food joints when I was a teenager and telemarketing gigs in college, this is the most stifling, joy-killing, career-stalling place i've ever come across. Seriously, I struggle to find words strong enough to describe how completely awkward, depressing and suspicious the culture is, and it's because of how awkward and suspicious upper management is. Also, work/life balance is nonexistent, unless you think that balance should be 90/10 in favor of work. Expect to work on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, holiday weekends, etc. Seriously, because it's a retail site and those are the big shopping days, those are days you're expected to not only work, but work 8+ hours. They give a lot of lip-service to using your PTO, but then when you do, you come back to your boss saying he heard "grumblings" about you being gone. Normally I wouldn't bother to relive the horror that was my time there by writing a review only to say a bunch of negative stuff, but I consider it an act of kindness to my fellow man to warn people away from working there. It is so not worth the free Cheeto's.

Pros

Loved my coworkers and still do!

Cons

The other reviews cover that in detail. Just letting you know that you should also check out the GlassDoor reviews for Vertive before you seriously consider working at this company. It is very much a stifling culture and you'll be looking for a new job after about 3 months. If you're just looking for something to get your foot in the door in Austin, it can be a great stepping stone, but don't expect it to be a place where you'll continue your professional growth.
