Cons

- Micromanaged by most of management - Management allows for coworkers to continue making inappropriate comments and/or bullying to occur. - Very unsafe parking lot (hit and runs, stolen car parts in the middle of the day, gas siphoned from cars, verbal harassment in parking lot and facility from customers, inappropriate conduct of customers never really enforced by management, etc). - No raises based on performance and never recognized when going above and beyond. - Payroll missed a company wide raise for me while I was on maternity leave, I had to figure out myself that I was being underpaid. - All staff severely underpaid. - You’re treated like your questions about maternity leave, FMLA, payroll, PTO are stupid or they are explained to you in high level terms that somebody outside of payroll/HR would never understand. - You come back from maternity leave with very little options or flexibility to have time off for sick leave or pediatrician or child care needs. However, some have been allowed to bring their children in when childcare fell through but this is only offered to management. - No work from home flexibility after over a year of being promised a hybrid schedule - even though it was made possible during COVID and every other employer who has chosen to offer it has figured it out by now. - The way PTO, Fmla, time off for family, flexibility, everything is handled by one unit manager is totally different than another unit manager. - Mileage reimbursement remained the same through gas price increase and over the years. - Too much concern about chain of command in a 50 employee office and very very little concern for employees mental health or anything that could be addressed to help them succeed. - Some unit managers allow drama between coworkers within their units or spend time spying on and “telling on” other units for how they handle things. - Staff is offered so little flexibility in their schedules that when you walk in “late” after a scheduled doctors appointment they feel so little trust that they feel they need to complain to management about that person “getting to be late” and the employee is not defended for just utilizing their time off to care for their child. - At least for me, I felt like I was treated like the least valuable employee in the office when I returned from maternity leave. Gone for three months and all I got when I returned - a very difficult day being apart from your child (too soon) - was “oh hey you’re back” no card, no congratulations, no plan of action of what to do with my time when I returned. Nothing. I felt like I no longer belonged and was no longer wanted there.
