Pros

The work is pretty easy, as long as you can memorize presentations for additives and services its pretty easy and doesnt take too much work. Service writers do the majority of the work under the hood

Cons

A lot of social interaction.

Pros

Everyone is willing to lend a helping hand. Breaks and lunches are given at the appropriate times. Genuinely help people without forcing them. Good Benefits, but only after the probation period is over. Discount for employees. Uniforms from Cintas are always prepared.

Cons

Very Sales-oriented!! Needs not met, such as fitting tools and workwear. Blackout days for calling off. Mercy of management. Minimum Wage.

Pros

Cheap car maintenance because of employee discount

Cons

A lot. #1 is management. I didn't realise until I started going to other stores just how bad management is. It is AWFUL. And not because the managers arent nice or considerate. Its the lack of actual employee managing. Bunch of great people doing snake work under the guise of wanting to help. Every employee is forced to read off a script specifically designed to make you spend more money boosting the employees "green out" you can't get promoted unless you green out. So people straight up lie to get ahead. Don't even get me started on gossip. The oil from your car is never completely drained and spending 100 bucks to drain transmission (one bolt) and put in a few quarts 30k miles before you even need to is robbery
