      Fantastic IP Law Firm with Very Good Training, Excellent Benefits and Fantastic HR Team, IT and a wonderful group of people to train you.

      I have only been there about a month and so far I really don't see much to complain about.

      Pros

      Great hours, great attorneys and staff, free parking, convenient location. Managers for the support roles are tremendously supportive. I can't speak to the previous reviews prior to me starting here but they are not what I've experienced. It seems like Oliff has responded to constructive criticism quite well and the culture has changed dramatically if the old reviews are to be believed. This firm has been nothing but amazing to me since I was hired. I would definitely recommend this firm to everyone and I am proud to work here.

      Cons

      Training could be a bit more robust, the main issue is the cookie cutter training that really doesn't take into account the nuanced nature of patent prosecution. It is very easy to make mistakes and preparing certain items for clients as preparation instructions can change dramatically between clients.

      Pros

      So many. Jim Oliff is a visionary and has built a wonderful firm. He now has a wonderful Executive Committee running the firm. Partners listen to your concerns. Managers are all great to work with. The firm gives comp time which, in my experience, is unusual. The firm is flexible with hours. Many free lunches and events. New computers and servers. Many exciting projects ahead.

      Cons

      Many routine tasks that could be automated take too long to get approval and get implemented. By having departments perform manual functions the firm is not taking advantage of technology.
