Pros

This was once an exciting and vibrant place to work right up until the time that Andrea Olshan appointed herself CEO. Her father must rue the day he let her take over. The fact that there is absolutely no Senior Management left at the company speaks volumes. No COO, no CFO, no department heads of leasing, development, asset management, construction, etc. Everyone with any talent or experience has either left or been forced out (I'm looking at you Hotel division).

Cons

Andrea Olshan is simply not qualified to be in any position of management let alone run an entire organization. She is the most disrespectful person I have ever met in my life. She meddles in EVERYTHING regardless of her lack of subject knowledge. I second the previous reviewer who mentioned her treatment of people in meetings and on conference calls. People are afraid to say anything for fear of incurring her wrath. Talk about the opposite of collaboration.

Pros

Good PTO from day one. Best health benefits I've seen. New Albany office is across from a Starbucks. There are always lots of pens.

Cons

In the last 18 months, nearly all corporate positions in Ohio and NYC have turned over, either by being fired due to "restructuring" or because they quit. There is no stability in any department because every 2 -3 months there is some kind of structure/management/portfolio change where the employees have to learn new and additional job duties while still expected to keep old deadlines. Expectations are unbearably high with no allowance for error and the assumption that perfection is attainable. The CEO can't get her hands out of the day to day activities and questions the smallest of actions of every associate. Middle management is on a power trip and they clearly favor men over women. Technology is outdated and even though computers are 5 years old and crashing, the CEO wouldn't approve of new hardware for everyone. Really terrible feeling in entire office right now. No one feels secure in their job and they all feel overworked and taken advantage of.

Pros

If you keep your mouth shut. You will get promoted even if you don't know what you are doing

Cons

Management doesn't know how to manage people. Employees are just payroll liabilities
