Pros

- Strong product with a clear competitive advantage in the market - Calm, supportive, and generally healthy company culture - Flexible remote and hybrid working options - Good work life balance compared to many SaaS environments

Cons

- Some middle management roles, particularly within the sales organisation, appeared to be filled through rapid internal promotion before individuals had sufficient people management experience. This had a knock-on effect on team development and performance. Over time, the company seems to have recognised this and strengthened management experience in these roles. 2. Regular all-hands meetings were frequently used for extended, politically or ideologically driven messaging unrelated to core business objectives. These sessions were often given uncapped airtime, sometimes taking up a significant portion of company wide meetings, which could feel exclusionary to employees who did not share the same political or social views.

Pros

Talented teams who care about the product and mostly support each other. Interesting technical work. Flexibility around hybrid and remote working, which helps with day to day balance. Many colleagues are friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely good to work with.

Cons

Some internal processes felt difficult to navigate, and when I tried to follow them, the experience became more stressful than expected. I believe this was partly due to ambiguity in how certain procedures were communicated. Workplace adjustments were handled inconsistently. Some recommendations from occupational health were implemented, while others were not clearly addressed. Communication around employee support could feel uneven, making it harder to know where to go for clear guidance. A strong focus on process sometimes overshadowed consideration of individual circumstances.
