Pros

The computers are fast at least. Everyone has 3 monitors at their desk... and the execs are constantly drunk.

Cons

Execs are constantly drunk at work, over worked data department, micro-managing CEO who is very disconnected from reality and his business, under paid staff, low office morale, a single support person (which is as bush league as you can get), no sales team, no water (that brita filter jug is full of dirt inside), the pay is a joke, you are expected to give your free time to help the business because if not you are then told you dont try hard enough, The CEO... wow... CEO will complain about calling out sick and give you a whole novel about how his "father never missed a day at work" but the CEO didn't show up to work once because it was raining outside and there was a deer in his backyard (True story. He emailed the photo of the deer to the entire staff with a quip about Noah's Ark), he was also recently heard referring to his top exec speaking Spanish on the phone as "speaking Mexican", he also claimed that he no longer wanted to hire people from the Bronx.... meanwhile his top exec and his listings manager are from the Bronx and worked for OLR for over 10 years. The longer you work at OLR the more you will hate it.

Pros

If you enjoy constant negativity from colleagues and the CEO then this is the place for you.

Cons

Hostile work environment. No water, coffee or anything to give you a reason to get to work other than a wildly mediocre pay. Everyday is a perpetual bombardment of negative emails from the CEO about the things you can't do or that you are doing wrong. Don't look forward to any constructive criticism, positive feedback, or clear communication between you and upper management. I've never worked for a company where a CEO would consistently remind their employees how much their pay is a drain on his bank account. Expect extreme scrutiny when taking days off or even leaving a little early.

Pros

From a professional standpoint, there are NO PROS to working for this so called "company." Don't expect anything; there is no room to grow, no decent pay, raises or bonuses. This company pays $12 an hour, NO more, but DEFINITELY less! The less "The Dictator" can pay someone per hour, the better. He really doesn't care about the livelihood of others. ZERO chance that any hard work and dedication to the job will be appreciated or recognized. In fact, it is more of constant criticism, complaining and ridicule. These negative comments and feedback seem to always be delivered in front of everyone and never done in private. It upsets people and makes for a very unpleasant work environment. The morale amongst "workers" (I cannot call them employees, since the place is run like a sweatshop) is very poor.

Cons

A true "Jonathan Greenspan" dictatorship. Have you ever had a boss who doesn't get into the office everyday until at least 2pm? When Jonathan finally does arrive, everyone immediately senses an extreme amount of tension and stress. Why? Because Jonathan's mood differs from day to day. You never know what your gonna get. "The Dictator" never shows or expresses any positivity towards anyone or anything, company related or otherwise. He TRULY thinks that everyone in the world is deliberately trying to destroy him, take his money and complicate his life. If an employee takes a sick day (for whatever reason), he immediately internalizes it as a direct hit against him and the company. Really?
