Pros

Offers remote work which is rare to find in the sports industry with a very competitive salary.

Cons

I can only speak for the team I was on, but horrible start to finish as far as what is expected of you. My red flag should have been the interview process when the director of one team offered me a job and then another director said she should have not done that and he is the one I would be working for and the verbal offer should have never been put out there. The whole interview was a mess, even my fist day my team of 4 was brand new, we are all over the country and reported into someone in Europe, so we had no idea what our day to day looked like. There was little to no training, no metrics put into place & only set up to fail. It was a sales role, but never had a work phone number, never got a commission plan until 9 months into the job and I was never even paid out on anything when I left. Being remote already comes with its challenges, but to be essentially a forgot about team and left to figure it out on our own was very difficult. They care a lot about these massive projects they land with very poor execution. My advice would be to not good woo'd by all the positives like remote work, salary, title and travel and really make sure to pay attention to those early on red flags and do your best to research the team you will be on, who you will be working for and with.
