Pros

Pay is well above average. Nice, clean , modern offices. Friendly enough people….however…see cons

Cons

The closest thing to a Cult I’ve ever experienced. The company is owned, run and about 90% or more of the staff are members of a “Strict Religious Brethren Community”. Music or any media is not allowed, it’s heads down all day every day. You’re not allowed to say “God” , “Lord” or “Jesus” full stop, even in a positive way. And you’ll be made to regret it if you ever do, even by accident. Super long hours (42.5 contracted hours) but you’re expected to do more, without any extra money. They only offer legal minimum requirement for Holiday Time, and there is ZERO sick leave allowed inside your first full year. After this you get the legal minimum 10 days paid sick leave per year (my lowest ever before this was 5 weeks first year, and 10 weeks after). If you’re not a “church community/Brethren “ member, your made feel very uneasy. They also will not ever eat lunch, or share time outside of work if you’re a non-member. Avoid this place like the plague, unless of course you are a member/want to be a member of the cult…sorry religion.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and we are sorry to learn that your experience at OnSite was not positive. The owners of the company do have Christian beliefs and we ask all the team to respect our beliefs in the same way that we respect all other beliefs, and we respect everyone as individuals as we are an inclusive company, because for us Everybody Matters. For your interest we are currently reviewing all our employment terms which already include private medical insurance, company sick pay, bonus scheme, we will also be reviewing holiday. We do appreciate your feedback and will most certainly consider the points raised.

Pros

I am a current employee of OnSite Support and will have been working for the business in various roles for 10 years in April 2022. I have recently seen some very negative comments on this site about the company and staff and felt it right to post my own personal opinion. Since joining the business in 2012 in the capacity of Warehouse Team Leader, I have been given many opportunities to learn and progress within different departments. I have found the directors, management and staff to be friendly, kind and honest. Our company moto; ‘Everybody Matters’, is embodied in the actions of staff who are always positive and helpful. OnSite is a family run business that started over 45 years ago, some of the staff, approximately 25% are of Christian belief, however, I am not religious and I have only positive experiences working with staff of diverse backgrounds within the business. The directors and management of the business treat employees like people and will always try to support staff emotionally, financially and professionally as they live the values. I am personally thankful to OnSite and the directors for my professional progression and for the support shown to my family and I over the years.

Cons

Prior to the pandemic the business used to provide all staff with free lunches, it would be great to bring this back following the easing of CV19 rules (I do appreciate all the coffee, tea, cereals, bread, spreads etc which is still provided!)?
