Everything!! I called in that I had a family emergency and I wouldn't be in as my dog needed to go to the ER vet and she unfortunately passed away. I get a call at 4:30 on Friday from Onway that I was fired because "they need people that will be there" I literally laughed and asked are you serious?? They said they were and I was like "wow!! Ok.... I'm not going to come to work while my dog is dying" the owner of the company said "I'm sorry you are going through that but we are still letting you go" so I hung up. Like I call in to say I have a family emergency and you think it's a good idea to call them the same day to fire them??? The lack of empathy these people have. No one should ever work there! Ever. I had a feeling I should have never accepted that job in the first place but it wasn't until I started I understood why I had that feeling. They had such a high turnover rate that not a single person had been there longer than a few months. I would ask people and literally every person had started sometime within 2025... The rules they had in place were very weird. It's called a 1-10-100 rule and it's basically a scale to show you how much your mistake cost the company. Shaming you for making a mistake as a human.... If you are job hunting please stay faaaaaar away from this place. You will stress yourself out to not make a mistake because of the fear of being shamed for it and God forbid an emergency happens in your life just know you won't have a job afterwards.
