Pros

Talented individuals and industry experts, especially within our local UK Commercial, Operations, and IT teams. A pleasant office with good facilities located in a vibrant part of London with excellent transport links. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where saying 'yes' to senior leadership is expected, regardless of the potential issues their decisions may cause, then this is the company for you!

Cons

Many of the 'fantastic people' mentioned in the Pros section are now facing redundancy. Over the years, we have increasingly outsourced work to markets where it is cheaper to operate. While we are now adopting an 'offshoring' model that allows us to claim our expertise remains 'in-house,' many of our talented team members are leaving the business. Employee wellbeing is not a priority. We say it is, but our actions suggest otherwise. It is becoming increasingly difficult to afford to be an employee at this company, both financially and psychologically. A combination of issues—redundancies across departments, lack of care, persistent technical and finance problems, confusion over the direction and future of our business, uncompetitive salaries and benefits, and the absence of pay rises over recent years, to name a few—has created a melting pot where employees outside of our senior leadership and marketing teams feel increasingly demotivated, demoralised, and under-appreciated.

Pros

- There are a few good people in there. - You get to work from home.

Cons

- The morale in this company amongst staff is very low. - A lot of talented people being made redundant and replaced with not so talented contractors from less developed countries. - There has been no salary raises for the past few years. - Micromanagement is a common disease amongst management. - Quality of work has gone down since off-shoring of vital services, for example of the IT department which has then been hit by a cyber attack due to incompetency, which then took over 2 months to semi-rectify which has then led to poor quality of service deliveries resulting in departures of top paying clients. - HR are always "open" to feedback but never act upon them.

A striking analogy...but on the contrary, we think our amazing people are exactly why we are - and will remain - a highly buoyant vessel! We're tinkering with the pipes, adding extra oil to the mechanics, and navigating the seasonal weather patterns, but we're heading in the right direction - towards the sun! And we're also delighted to clarify that we're pursuing an in-house talent philosophy. You'll see fewer contractors and third party providers working with us, and more talented in-house employees from across our many markets driving momentum. We firmly believe this approach gives us greater control of our operations, helping drive efficiencies and providing greater career opportunities.

Pros

My manager is a decent person.

Cons

Upper management is a mess. They are incompetent, and they make decisions in a vacuum. They do not communicate truthfully or listen to logic from employees with better ideas. All-hands meetings from leadership are like propaganda, filled with lies. At the time of writing, the CEO’s rating on Glassdoor is 0%. That says it all. There’s no plan to grow the company or increase revenue, other than to outsource employees to India or Morocco. They’re shutting down products that are profitable. Nobody is happy here. Morale is as low as can be. People who have been at the constituent companies for many years are quitting in droves. Employees are underpaid and overworked. Deadlines are unrealistic, and blame is thrown on employees who don’t have the power to change anything. There is no company culture. Management doesn’t take reports of bullying seriously (even if they say they do). My complaints have met a wall. There are certain people at high levels that are rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. The atmosphere is toxic. I’m not sure how the private equity owners of the company can think that things are going well. THEY ARE NOT. Most people I’ve spoken with are looking for new jobs.
