      What direction are we going today?

      Decent pay, some flexibility in work schedule

      Cons

      Direction is virtually non-existent. Upper management is obsessed with micro-managing everything including many things that they do not understand and won't spend any money to make things better. HR and payroll are a cluster with new issues almost every week. Work life balance means they give lip service and then talk about you if you don't put in 80 hours. Steer clear of this one, and the positive reviews are almost all just stake holders trying to make themselves look better.

      Good pay and also nice benefits

      Cons

      Company lets go of employees regularly if you do not "fit in" with "the clique" (I fortunately did not get let go because I was good at faking it). Be prepared to put your best oscar winning performance on a daily basis or else accept that your job is at risk. There is a serious micro management issue within the company.

      I've worked for a lot of different companies, and Cask LLC has better benefits than any of the others. The healthcare is good, the PTO is good, the Friday after Thanksgiving is off, and they close the week of Christmas. Best of all, they schedule training boot camps and pay for everything. I've never worked for a company that treats employees as an asset instead of a liability. Another good thing is that they use Software as a Service for HR, timekeeping, intranet, etc. They embrace the cloud, something that few other companies do.

      Cons

      Nothing major. They are a small company, so if you are used to large departments taking care of things, the idea that only two or three people do HR might throw you. On the other hand, you quickly get to know who does what, which can be a plus.
