Pros

enriches the Executive Director bc this org ideologically jukes donors, management, staff, all the way down to canvassers/ volunteers

Cons

they literally did not pay canvassers. claim to organize but really just kind of bothering workers around with false claims of what could be. this whole thing is just a fake model so these mundane policies OFW promotes/endorses look like they have grassroots support. the sick thing is they probably would if management would even care to actually engage people instead of using them as sentient cardboard cutouts of what a crowd looks like. this org doesn’t pay people on time if at all, they do not practice their feel good values, i’m surprised the founder is still a professor at UC Berkeley and isn’t ashamed at what a failure this place is. from staff to members, this place is mismanaged top-down with management with ulterior motives to keep this running no way to move up in the org bc if you start pointing out how unrealistic the objectives set up by management are, you get fired. they try to pay you as little as possible, affecting mainly black staff. a very sick joke of an organization
