Some very fine employees work there, but upper management rules with an iron hand. Untrustworthy!
Cons
Unethical, politically motivated, self-centered, self-serving, and a thoroughly corrupt Native American organization to work for and/or with. Cannot be trusted at any level. Cutthroat, manipulative, lying, with a slash and burn employee ideology. Untrustworthy, dishonest, internally imploding culture.
The pay is really great for only needing a high school diploma to work there. The insurance, vacation and personal time are phenomonal compared to other companies.
Cons
Lots of racism - if you're not enrolled Oneida, you don't matter. Racism is tolerated from management towards employees. There is a great deal of favoritism within departments. Unless you're enrolled Oneida, you cannot be in a supervisory position; there's absolutely no room for growth.
Very laid-back with family or child needs and emergencies, relaxed and quiet environment, very informal, no weekend or evening overtime in office positions
Cons
Constant budget cuts, no clear leadership in management roles, confused and unstable management, harassment is normal, stale office environment, unprofessionalism is common and conduct by management is usually childish or cowardly, headed downhill very quickly, pay raises usually given to men but not women
