Cons
- Lost a number of 'perks' and benefits since moving offices. No Friday Lunches, no car washes, no social events (unless you're PM + and sponsored by an external company) - Over-crowded offices. We cram more than 3 times the number of people in the offices as the State of California was told would be working here. - Portapotty. Our remedy to the OSHA complaint of not enough restrooms was to put a portable toilet outside in the parking lot. Let me restate : portable toilet. outside. California heat. - Office culture has all but evaporated lately, in exchange for working longer hours to meet arbitrary deadlines. - We were instructed to 'pick a random time' to review so they 'would feel more organic'.
