Contracted for Onyx with Deloitte on RMVM project in MA
Pros
Great benefits, the company takes good care of its employees. They also don't micro manage or check in, they trust you to do good at your job. However, they do keep in contact and let you know what the company your contracting with thinks of your performance and they check in periodically to make sure you are happy with your fit. They also let me pick my pay schedule.
Cons
I found it a bit challenging that the company health benefits were so expensive, the company pays more than the employee but I still thought around 150/wk for a parent and child for an HMO plan was a bit steep. It was also challenging that sometimes the company your consulting with isn't transparent with the company you actually work for. I would hear gossip from coworkers and check in with my company to try and avoid any big surprises that could effect me.
