Pros

There are simply no Pros to working for this company if you are in anyway interested in working for a progressive dynamic company.

Cons

Too many, just don't do it. Professional Services is all over the place. Good people come in (usually via acquisition), try to do their best but then leave once they realise that management are simply not up to the level required (most are prompted through longevity). Did I say - don't do it. Save yourself the anguish.

Pros

Impressive customer base, mostly through acquisition. A small handful of smart people doing all the heavy lifting - Hope they dont leave!

Cons

Higher staff turnover than punters at a merry go round. The accountants run this circus and they haven't figures out the value of customers on their spreadsheets. Almost no knowledge sharing, no collaboration tools and knee jerk decisions get despatched from a disconnected executive group. Company has a long history of picking up software companies from the recycle bin, milking the maintenance revenue and slashing development and support overheads - Just look at the acquisition history and single digit organic sales growth. Some new customers would be nice. This is not the place for anyone with a degree of free thinking and leave your sympathy for the poor old customers at home.

Pros

There was sparkling water on tap.

Cons

If you're considering a position at OT, particularly in sales ops with "VB" as the hiring manager, I strongly advise against it. During my brief tenure of just under three months, there were three turnovers within the team. The work environment was toxic, with instances of bullying and gaslighting by the manager leading to burnout among team members. Additionally, there was a severe lack of work-life balance; I was told time off during critical periods such as the last two weeks of the quarter and the last week of every month, including the period between Christmas and New Year will be denied. This lack of flexibility would pose significant challenges, especially for those with familial responsibilities. The manager's behavior was egregious, often resorting to shouting and yelling at employees. Despite reporting these issues to HR, there was no meaningful response or action taken. While many IT companies espouse values of empowering women and promoting work-life balance, OT fell far short of these ideals. Proceed with caution, as this environment may not align with your professional or personal well-being.
