No matter how they try to dress it up, the software they sell is obsolete rubbish. They've been tweaking it for 25+ years, and it still doesn't work. It constantly crashes, breaks, slows down, and takes other systems with it. Dealing with frustrated clients who can't do their work or angry contractors who can't access their accounts, all day long, every day, causes a lot of employee turnover. It's so complex not one single person in the entire company fully understands it. Too many DevOps cooks stirring this overly spiced stew for far too long have created an outdated, ungainly, unwieldy mess. No matter how many re-skins they slap on it to pretty it up, the product is a convoluted dinosaur that deserves to go extinct. And everyone from the CEO to the receptionist knows it.
