Management team unable to understand how to lead a technica product
Pros
Nice office environment Good equipment Flexible hours Remote work to some extent
Cons
The core management team doesn't really know anything about managing the development of a tech product/platform. Partly because of them coming from non-technical fields (business mostly) and partly because, despite all of the given feedback, they miserably and consistently fail to acknowledge their own incompetence on such matter. They think that just because they pour money into the tech team they can get to ask for anything at any point of time and failing to provide proper requirements and just because they promised to a customer about a certain feature. This attitude was observed and suffered by other teams (i.e design team) where I heard the same complaints and observed the same consequences. In every case, the core management member would look for a scapegoat so they don't have to assume responsibilities and its subsequent consequences. they also struggle with other organizational things that most startups does but it's not reasonable to wake up one day, come to work and heard management say that all of sudden and out of the blue they found out they are in really bad numbers and that they have to fire 15%-20% of employees. I still remember one of the co-founders changing its official position in the company 3-4 times in like 2-3 months. An utterly useful-for-nothing member
