Pros

Some of the leisure actives such as running volleyball and table tennis, flexi, holidays people

Cons

Micro management, HR pretty much run the place. Pay is low compared to other companies, yet HR are overpaid compared to other HR departments in other companies Delivering success bonus, pay is corrupt system which is rigged. The whole system needs a proper independent audit. No direction.

Pros

Free parking, flexible working, onsite canteen

Cons

Civil service mentality, bullying behaviours exhibited, poor management, lack of direction, unsupported working environment with not enough resources. Too much hierarchy and bureaucracy. Inept HR department, the most shambolic workplace I have experienced.

Pros

Flexible working (but this comes at a cost to your personal life) + 5 holiday days if you stay longer than 5 years

Cons

HR run the show in the same way a dictatorship is run. Pay is not reflective of work requirements (managers push staff to do their jobs for them with with no such thing as normal working hours - be prepared to be on-call 24/7). HR killed the sole of this place with their disgusting letter to all staff telling them they’re all overpaid. C-Level is non-existent. Middle management are incompetent (promotion based on favouritism and longevity vs genuine merit or credentials) and there has been no direction or strategy for years. Add to that increases in data licence prices and clear lack of care towards customers, leaving staff on the front lines to face the anger and frustration of long-suffering customers with no support from the ‘business’. Much like many other reviews on here, the place has become strife with bullying and intimidation to get people to do as they’re told or face illegal disciplinary action (HR don’t care about employment law - just look at the freedom of information requests to highlight this issue). Public funds continue to be misspent on outside consultants who offer nothing and continue to charge extortionate fees. This is a ship that was sunk the moment the current HR leadership was put in place - they have single handedly destroyed the company. It’s become a depressing and sad place with half of the people waiting for their retirement and the other half struggling to move to new companies as they’ve been repressed into forgetting their worth.
