I had a horrible boss, constantly antagonizing employees...even came into the restroom one time because I was taking too long apparently. The company shut down and moved to another state, but not until after having employees work overtime throughout the holiday season. Then, David Oreck came two weeks before christmas to tell everyone they're losing their jobs. Overall, bad job. The pay was decent but that's it.

The salary for managment and assistants is only 12,000 per year all other income is based on budget goals and commision, which is very minimal for assistants and just a bit higher for managers. The budgets which seem to rise far higher each year than any other company ive worked for while marketing and support has decreased. Unless your in a very high volume in a metro area compansation will be low while you pushed much harder to attain your goals. They do not seem to have any concern for the economy or trends when setting budgets for stores, but simply expect a 10% increase over last years budget and that would be budget.....not attainment.
