Pros

Flexible schedule, you work when you want to work. Wide variety between shifts due to different events to work at.

Cons

Hours range from large dry periods to extremely busy. There's barely any hours in the summer, but during busy seasons you might get scheduled for back-to-back 12 hour shifts.

Pros

Government, so you have access to many resources and PERS. Great culture and work life harmony

Cons

Building back after the pandemic has been a struggle since many folks have left the industry. Short staffed internally and externally makes running events a challenge
