Terrible Dead End job

Pros

Great co-workers that were suckered into believing they were working for good people.

Cons

The owners are inept and malicious... a very bad combination.

Pros

For those who can think independently and get tasks done without needing to be micro managed this is a great place. If your looking for a place to show your competence and rise to supervisory levels quickly and be rewarded for your efforts this is the place for you. Great owners who truly care about their employees. You will get your paid time off and not be worked to death under a salaried position. The product and new technology is before its time but ready to take off. Am so grateful to have had the experience as a contractor to help out with this project.

Cons

Being a startup in its infancy it is difficult to get competent employees who can take on task and think. Not everyone's elevator reaches the top floor. Yes there has been a high turnover as some have used the experience to launch their career, unfortunately others seem to be locked into permanent unemployment and bitterness. Did not enjoy working with some of these incompetent whiners with such a sense of entitlement. Fortunately most of these people did not last and left or were asked to leave.

Very poor Management

Pros

-Very rare chance to work in the electric vehicle industry, especially in the Eastern US. -The friends I made here are some that I will remember for the rest of my life, and probably were why I made it as long as I did in this dump.

Cons

Where do I begin? If you enjoy: -Low wages (barely enough to live on) -ZERO benefits (this means NO insurance or paid off days) -Threats with pay docking for not working enough hours a week -Having to work Saturdays unpaid -The CEO taking credit for all your ideas and claiming they were his -Being told you are replaceable -Having your pay docked while out sick -Not being allowed to do the job you were hired for -Very high employee turnover (gee, I wonder why?)-- meaning constant retraining new employees Then this is the place for you. I have never hated a CEO more than I did working at Organic Transit. The man is a psychopath, and seems to thrive on the mental games he plays with employees. I worked for the company for over 2 years. During this time, despite my contributions I was given no raises or bonuses and was told that I already made too high a salary. I was reprimanded for taking off time for Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays. Because of these conditions, I didn't take a vacation for 2 years. That is hell, and I would not recommend it. The positive reviews on this site for Organic Transit are either fabricated or from people who only interned just a few months and never experienced the issues that full time employees endured.
