Pros

Good people by and large. Interesting business and lots of opportunity to get experience if you slog for it.

Cons

Poor leadership in tech - focus on gadgets and fads, core tech is creaking. No real training/development support from HR - focus is on salespeople really. Gap between executive management and teams on the ground is huge, especially in IT. Unfortunately, it's who you know not what you know. Lots of travel required - work life balance is tough.

The people who are actually doing the work are really helpful

Cons

Under staff. Too many cooks in the kitchen. Instead of hiring people who can actually help the work done, they are hiring managers to push the people who are already over worked! No direction or support but expect you to know everything. Too many managers in a project who are micromanaging. No trust and bullying staff

Toxic Workplace but nice office and surroundings

The office surroundings are nice. Transport links. Free parking.

Cons

Toxic culture, bullying . Micromanaging of employees by their colleagues on the same level, no clear definition of roles. Complete cliche culture. No interest in developing people. No communication skills across management whatsoever. Poor handling of complaints. HR non-existent if you're not in the U.K. No health insurance, car/travel allowance. Does not pay enough for what you have to put up with. No team spirit, no staff outings or events. Fake people.
