Free food in break-room. Free clothing. Discount product prices.

Cons

None fabricating maintenance shop. No pay raises or bonuses. No pay for skills training program. No credit for problem solving or ideas. No Programmable Logic Controller programming or access allowed (all out-sourced). Maintenance Supervisor does not work will with others. Maintenance Supervisor holds back department. Favoritism of some employee's.

Good to build your resume with. You Meet lots of good contacts but no room for growth.

Cons

Sanford health insurance and Orion has a deal worked out for their benifit which hurts staff. Orion employees pay 50% to 80% more on health insurance than employees with competitor companies. Shopping around, I found better plans with individual insurance plans with lower payments which include better coverage and lower deductible. The pay is the lowest in the industry and no room for any growth. High staff turnover due to poor management of the operations team.

Good size company where your voice can be heard by upper management. Support charities. Jeans days. Nice people. Vacation is good.

Cons

Company tends to be pretty reactive versus proactive. Difficult to implement long term activities. Many different ownerships groups. Too many priorities.
