Decent place to work - I worked in animal husbandry while employed there

Pros

- Met a lot of wonderful people - Able to help educate the general public - Generally never bored - Flexible schedule - Opportunities for advancement if you work hard

Cons

- Some of the managers need to go. They have been there for years and seem burnt out/don't seem to care anymore. - Management can play favorites, which is highly frustrating if you aren't one. - Pay could be better for non-management positions - The Science center needed a lot of updates during the time I worked there.

The people that work are wonderful. I like coming to work just to hang out with them. Membership after 90 days. Work incentives.

Cons

Constantly reminding managers to do their job; Guest complaints about how marketing doesn't advertise proper information.
