Amazing co-workers, HORRIBLE management/administration
Pros
I want to start by saying that I worked for the Physical Therapy side of the practice, not the Orthopaedic Surgery side. The therapists, therapy techs, and the front desk staff were amazing. They are extremely friendly and helpful. They love what they are doing and it shows. They will bend over backwards to make you feel part of the team and to help you when needed.
Cons
Management! A wise person once said... employees do not quit a company, they quit management! The front desk manager would be out of her depth in a parking lot puddle. Loves coming up with new things for the front desk staff to do, but is nowhere to be found if you have questions or concerns. She never responds to emails, texts, or voicemails. When she does suddenly appear from the abyss, She tries to micro-manage, but it quickly becomes painfully obvious that she has no clue what is going on. 85% of what was discussed/promised during my onboarding never came to fruition. If they promise you something, GET IT IN WRITING, because they will deny, deny, deny. They also love to mess with your PTO time. If you need to take off for a MD appt, etc they will make you "make up" the hours missed...even if you have PTO time to use. This practice is closed for the major holidays...but even though the entire company is closed, they will make you take your PTO time. There is no such thing as holiday pay. There is no such thing as time off without pay. If you don't have the available PTO time...forget taking any time off regardless of the reason (death in family, sick, etc.) Gas-lighting employees is also part of the company culture. Nothing is management's fault. Everything is the fault of the employee. Also, if you quit... you can/will never by hired by another OrthoGeorgia/ITC company...EVER. Watch yourself!
