Pros

There were a few genuine, smart employees who excelled at providing excellent patient care. The reps were very nice, often brought "free lunch." Learning opportunity on what NOT to do as a leader.

Cons

- MDs are arrogant and condescending often referring to their staff as a cesspool. - You are required to go beyond your job description. I don't mean helping the front desk if you're an MA. I mean MDs continuously crossing personal boundaries and HR turning a blind eye to it. - They hire incompetent staff who are often family members or a kid of someone they know that pretend to work only when upper management is visiting. - Promotion of said incompetent staff based on longevity of employment and NOT work merit or ethic. - Chaotic, toxic work environment. - They keep "high-performing" employees who are generally horrible people both personally and professionally. - This specific branch has a high turnover rate with maybe about 20 people coming and going in the past year ALONE.

Pros

Working with some of the best orthopedic surgeons in the area. Being able to build strong relationships with the patients you interact with. The salary is slightly higher for the area is always a plus.

Cons

Management doesn't value your opinion on how to improve your job, it's "just a do as I say" environment. To much micro-managing the employees who know what they are supposed to do and do it daily. The biggest con is the "revolving door" that HR refuses to acknowledge. When you have such a high volume of employees coming and going should indicate an issue somewhere within the company. No job growth.
