      Dysfunctional mess

      Good pay, nice office, great mission

      The leadership is absolutely abysmal. It’s a family oriented business. The CEO employs his children and if you’re tight with them you’re in. There are people in VP level positions that have no experience doing what they are doing. Some VPs have never even managed a team before. CEO micromanages every team and whatever he says goes. No one pushes back, no one checks him, because if they do he will rage against them. This place has the potential to be great but it seriously needs to grow up and put the checks and balances in place to be successful.

      Terrible leadership. Original CEO spent too much time on special projects and couldn't keep the same one as the company's focus. Too much money wasted on too many things before finishing one. Too many family and friends who didn't know what they were doing were hired for important roles. Company went through a massive round of layoffs in November 2023 and new leadership came in, but not much changed. Would recommend avoiding if you're looking for something long term.

      Prior to November 2023, the team did have a great culture however management (the CEO and CSO) were insanely toxic. The employees are what made the company - we called it trauma bonding.

      Cons

      Where do I begin…. This company is slowly imploding because the new CEO just allows the former CEO (who is now the CTO) to steamroll everything. And to add the CSO (nepotism anyone) who doesn’t have any professional experience, it’s just a massive CF there. If somehow the company makes it out alive financially, it will be shocking. The toxicity - and nepotism - at this company is so thick. It’s a walking red flag. Why the Board hasn’t fired certain executives is beyond me but they are just wasting investors money.
