Great coworkers, lack of value towards employees

Pros

A lot of great coworkers as well as some great managers. They made it well worth it. Pro deals are a nice perk, but they are getting worse. Passionate people about the outdoors and making changes in the industry, even though they are not leading the way.

Cons

As many reviews have stated, the leadership at the executive level is terrible. There is a lack of communication within the company, they treat employees terribly and they are expendable, I was told this directly to my face. Pay is terrible, won't pay for training, no career growth. They throw money away at silly things. Unless you have a trust fund, or a SO at FAANG or MS good luck surviving on these wages. Despite record profits, the raise is still 3% even with inflation at over 8%, that's a pay cut, not a raise. Execs still take their massive bonus despite failed plans with the mask program. Will fire you if they find out you are looking for another job. The culture is not good as people on the 6th and 7th floors tend to look down on anyone not working on those floors or the warehouse as a previous post mentioned. Silo'd departments. Forcing people back into the office. Trying to make a medical-grade mask for a PR stunt. Not inclusive outside of the 6th and 7th floors.

Pros

Company culture, employee discount, great products, great people who actually use the products they develop, market, and sell.

Cons

Salaries below market rate, especially in Seattle. Sub-par benefits. Disconnected executive leadership. High turnover in recent years due to executive leadership has eroded company culture.

Pros

An awesome company to work for with a goof laid back work environment and many fringe benefits like free kayak and gear rentals, bouldering wall, and work out room

Cons

Honestly the benefits are pretty bad. The health care plan is middle of the road (though they do put money into an Hsa account), no matching 401k, and the pay is below average even for the outdoor industry
