Pros

Great office space, and nice food. People are great. Paid vacation and sick. There is huge potential but lack of interest.

Cons

Lousy incompetent management. Very rigid and not so inspiring company culture. Forcing employees to work long hours without compensation.

Pros

- work is taken super seriously but the culture is not stiff - flat structure - it's always more important what are the arguments than who gave the idea - the company takes great care of us - personal, professional career development plans, extra workshops for soft skills, 2 major team buildings per year... - top level management is so approachable - you can pitch ideas to them, we eat lunch together, there is no "looking down" on people on lower positions I really do feel I can grow here (professionally & personally) and I feel great here because I feel respected.

Cons

- fast paced industry, so you need to be able to adjust quickly - the scope of activities is large, as we do everything on a global scale and that can be overwhelming sometimes

Decent work-life balance, but not worth it for expats

Pros

The company itself is kind of nice, but the culture is very specific - you either fit in perfectly or you don’t. There is a lot of showmanship, and to be successful, you need to constantly stay visible. If you enjoy this kind of environment, you might like it here. One positive aspect is work-life balance. There is no excessive overtime, and most people can manage their workload without stress. Regardless of other issues, at least employees are not overworked. The company has also been relatively stable, with no major layoffs except for the closure of the Barcelona office. While job security is never 100% guaranteed, there haven't been massive restructurings or frequent layoffs like in some other tech companies.

Cons

A key thing to consider is that Outfit7 is based in Slovenia. For locals, salaries might be decent, but as an expat, I would never move there (again). Slovenia is a very expensive country - food and rent are extremely high, while wages remain low. If you are an expat thinking about relocating for this job, I strongly advise against it. Bonuses are small and get reduced by around 20% every year. Getting a salary raise is extremely difficult - at least in my case (and many other cases), there was always some excuse for not increasing it. Because of these factors, most of the international employees come from Ukraine, Serbia, and similar countries where salaries are even lower. However, there are no experienced professionals from other regions, which speaks volumes about the company's appeal to top talent. One of the biggest ironies about the company is the hiring process. The lengthy 2-4 month interview process has been discussed on Glassdoor multiple times, and inside the company, it's even a running joke. But the real issue is that once you start working and encounter incompetence in everyday work conversations, you start wondering - what was the point of all those long interviews?
