The team at Outlier Tech is great. It is a tight-knit, small team where everyone contributes and is collaborative and helpful. The business is pretty fast-pased, so there is always lots to do.
Cons
Very unprofessional behavior from management that includes yelling and swearing at employees, confusing and contradicting feedback, and degrading and devaluing language.
The work is rewarding because it ultimately helps to protect innocent people and promote public health.
This is not a boring place to work because each week is unique and the company is constantly trying new things.
The team is great. Everyone is talented, hard working, responsible and kind.
Cons
It can be a major grind at times. There is tons of work to be done and the company is operating with a skeleton crew.
The compensation/benefits package is less than what bigger companies can offer.

Thank you for your feedback and advise. As you know we are working to hire more staff. The biggest challenge is finding good people who will mess well with the Team. As for the "major grind at times," I encourage you to take more PTO and to let me know before you get too burnt out.

Thank you for your feedback and advice. As you know, we have begun working on formal processes and internal systems to support these processes. It is still a work in progress, but I think we're headed in the right direction. As for expressing frustration, you should know I am frustrated with myself. Rather than expressing my frustration, I will do a better job at asking for help before reaching that point.
