Performance doesn't matter
Management starting from the higher up is terrible, Managers are too scared to speak up to the higher ups which is interesting.
Expressing or exploring ideas will just get you shot down because management while receiving it well, fears the higher ups.
This job if you are truly interested in sales is a 1 year get the bonus and bounce. Regardless of how you perform it will not determine your worth to the company.
All management cares about is
A. Are you reading the script.
B. Are you making enough phone calls.
Huge lack of training, We were assigned with selling a product to a doctor that we had surface level knowledge on and it took months and a group meeting to even discuss.
Calling customers, Holy moly management loves to push you to call customers 3+ times in the same month. Your job is to sell them over the phone on a patient line and when you start calling 3-7 times a month so we can push a product or a redundant system through the doors and force the Doctor on the phone, No they don't want to be your customer and you are the one eating the consequences not management as it affects not only your bonus but also your total revenue.
The upper management tries to do 3 jobs at once being a jack of all trades which results in everything being mediocre and nothing being done.
YOUR COMPETITION IS the largest distributor of medical devices in which many of the foot and ankle devices that your company MANUFACTURES is sold to that company. Which feeds into they never tell you what the competition is so your competing against other companies completely in the dark and you don't know what the difference between your products and theirs are.
Do not fall for the lies of earning commission, your hourly amount and raise are guaranteed so performance will not get you a raise. If you think you will be commission-able think again, There is not a single non manager in there earning commission and we are talking guys who have been working for 5+ years.
Go find a SDR job, its remote too with actual money to make if you have the talent, Don't waste more than a year stuck here.
