Flexible remote work but high pressure and low pay

Pros

- Flexible and remote working arrangements. - Gain specialized experience in weight management and obesity care.

Cons

- Strong emphasis on daily and monthly KPIs and patient volume targets, which can create pressure and contribute to stress. - At times, there appears to be a disconnect between the company's stated focus on patient-centred care and the operational focus on productivity metrics and patient numbers. - The need to meet activity and caseload targets can sometimes make it challenging to prioritise the quality and depth of patient interactions. - Patient dissatisfaction with company policies or service limitations often falls to clinicians to manage, which is draining and taking time away from clinical care. - Significant amount of administrative work - Frequent changes to systems, processes, and workflows require continual adaptation and can impact productivity. - The company evolves rapidly, meaning there is always new information, initiatives, and updates to keep up with. - Increasing standardization of processes may reduce clinician autonomy and flexibility in managing patients. - Salary below NHS average. Not much room to bargain.
