Good PMO knowledge Good at staffing lower end contractor market

Cons

Total boys club (A lot of inappropriate behaviour) CEO has not the best reputation which has been hindering business development HR has asked all employees to leave positive reviews on Glassdoor so read with caution

Pros

+ High calibre of PMO professionals with real depth of knowledge; + High Profile Client Base for a company this size with no brand strength; + Socials are well organised.

Cons

- Company is focused on growing revenue at any cost; - Large pool of contractors, with internal employees used really to reduce cost base; - People development, training and career progression generally ignored; - Top table focused on growing company for a potential future sale; - 80%+ of internal employees sold to clients as project planners, with few opportunities to work in other role types unless a Senior Manager or Director. - Employees only measured against sales contribution at all levels in the organisation (don't make a sale, don't expect a bonus, promotion or payrise).

Pros

Varied work. Nice people to work with.

Cons

Assignment leads invariably are contractors and quality is variable leading to a hit and miss approach to satisfying client expectations. Junior permanent staff need significant mentoring and training in the basics. No evidence of true consultancy just throw bodies at a problem and hope for the best approach. Not much interest in learning lessons ongoing or at end of assignment.
