      Good technical staff and senior management.

      Cons

      ANSYS sales management has serious issues. Constant personality conflicts. Negative environment.

      Pros

      - Management ranges from competent to outstanding - Company has a core set of ideals and sticks to them - Very accommodating for work/life balance issues - Management and employees are most interested in what works (as opposed to company politics or popularity contests)

      Cons

      - The company is engineering dominated, which is good, but social interactions are occasionally awkward - Corporate strategy is quite conservative. This is probably part of the reason the company has survived and prospered, but it has some drawbacks.
