First, I was placed working with software I had zero experience with for an industry I had little knowledge. I was assured I would receive training repeatedly but in reality I was responsible for training myself. The job was remote and I worked from home my only access to any sort of training was to beg other consultants for assistance in learning. This proved difficult because the requirements for billable hours was so ridiculous that I could rarely get any time with other consultants. This was a known issue prior to my employment and I was told these problems had been addressed. It turns out that this remained a problem throughout my time there. Though we are told that the intent is to encourage team work, the competitive and toxic environment didn't truthfully allow it. No one makes time to help out the team.

Work life balance is horrendous. Constant threats of more layoffs or just being terminated. Very AI-centric. It wouldn't surprise me if they start to replace employees with AI in the near future. The company plays the acquisition game and then lays off employees of the acquired company as well as seems to be going through some financial difficulties.
