Pros

WFH I work with some very talented people. While Executives have killed moral and the family atmosphere once loved there are plenty of employees who have been here way long than the Crosslins and have not stopped treating each other as a team. Managers and their employees still try very much to make out environment a friendly atmosphere. Once you hit the level of Director you have pretty much ran into Brad Crosslin.

Cons

In no order at all: Raises: They do not happen, ever. For at least 5 years we have been told there are no raises this year because they are losing customers fast. In my 10 years I have seen one cost of living raise (2%) Promotions: Hard to come by as they seem to prefer hiring outside of the company more than they promote from within. They have also built satellite offices in Mexico and India for cheap labor (see layoffs below) Incentives: They have been drastically cut. No longer do employees get a ring for their 5 years of seranniversary. No longer do they throw a company Christmas party. Layoffs: Becoming a frequent occurrence for 20+ people to suddenly be without a job. People are let go and we are told that no replacement is coming. Meanwhile Mexico and India teams seems to be their focus. Training: Non-existent. Does not happen Human Resources: VERY unapproachable. Does very little, if anything, to address legitimate issues. Healthcare: Horrible and it has gotten worse every year. MY main complaint to the prescription plan. Prescription costs doubled in the same year they forced us to use the company owned pharmacy for all medications. One that closes at 6pm and is not open on the weekends. It's very intruding to know your employer has your prescription history and personal information at their disposal and uses it. Example: My daughter (18+ adult) has prescriptions filled. If she doesn't pick up her prescriptions quick enough I get an email to pdxinc assigned email telling me her prescriptions are available. No other pharmacy has ever contacted me about another adults prescriptions unless specified to do so. They have not been told by my daughter to ever tell me anything about her business. This has caused me to stop taking some of my prescribed medications. It might not bother some, but this bothers me greatly and feels very intrusive. Environment: If you are not part of the "Crosslin Crew", forget it... very cliquish environment. Managers now manage at least two teams, so you have less access to your manager. Low level employees are being told to pick up the slack of the diminishing teams while managers are flown across the country to train our replacements. The companies plan for the future seems to change weekly. Standard practices are also constantly changing with no effort by the company to notify and/or train employees. You usually find out a change in practices has been made by being reprimanded for not performing said action. Employees are stressed, overworked, and morale is low across departments. People are scared for their jobs in the US watching Brad Crosslin lay off very tenured employees about every quarter... Some are being given a few months to leave quietly, others are walked out of the building.

Pros

The drive to work was less than 5 minutes from my place. I worked around some very good professionals and gained valuable knowledge that helped enhanced my career. That is about the only good thing I can say about this organization.

Cons

Poor organizational leadership in place. Organization hires managers with no formal leadership training or experience, which is very alarming. No room for advancement and individuals who does advance, is because they are related to someone in upper management. Some cases, a job is created for an individual. The pay is not competitive and the organization does not conduct annual reviews. So do not expect a pay raise regardless of how long you been with the organization. The owner of the organization drives around in these very expensive collection of car but does not take care of his employees. Very selfish if you asked me.The employee morale is very low as a result of poor management styles. The company has a very high turnover ratio and has lost many talented workers. I do not recommend working at this organization because of the poor pay structure, lack of advancement opportunities, managers that have poor leadership styles (micro-manage), poor organizational leadership, questionable hiring practices, and other unethical practices.

Pros

Work from home and somewhat flexible schedule

Cons

Hiring a lot of non technical people for software design and testing. Moving long tenure employees into technical jobs just because they've been with the company for many years when they are incompetent for the role. No formal reviews , pay raises are scarce. Micromanaging from Directors which leads to Micromanaging from Managers and Team Leads. All US jobs are being filled offshore, leading employees to wonder the state of the company.
